HOSA MISSION

Oklahoma HOSA state staff work to provide Oklahoma HOSA members opportunities for professional development, learning, leadership and community service. Each year Oklahoma HOSA hosts three conferences- Fall Leadership Conference (FLC), State Leadership Conference (SLC) and Camp IGNITE. Additionally, National HOSA hosts the International Leadership Conference and Washington Leadership Academy. This year, Oklahoma HOSA is happy to host our brand new Day with The Thunder!

Dress to Impress!

When representing Oklahoma HOSA, it is important to be dressed in proper uniform/attire. Not sure what to wear? Check out this YouTube video, or the photographs below so you can come to conference feeling prepared and looking your best!

Appropriate Dress: Conference T-shirt and solid colored slacks/skirts with closed toe shoes. NO HOUSE SHOES OR JEANS.

Exclusive Panel Discussion

The day kicks off with a full vendor capacity expo featuring industry partners ready to share real-world healthcare insights and opportunities. Attendees will have the chance to interact with professionals, explore potential career pathways, and expand their understanding of the healthcare field.

We’re hosting an exclusive panel with Thunder staff and healthcare professionals. This is a rare chance for attendees to hear firsthand about careers that blend sports and healthcare, and gain valuable advice on becoming leaders in the industry.

Celebrate Healthcare All Day

We’re proud to announce that schools attending will be recognized during the game. Plus, 16 lucky students will be randomly selected to participate in exclusive courtside events before the game begins!

OKHOSA will be celebrated throughout the entire event as we honor the future health professionals who will soon lead the way in healthcare. This is an incredible opportunity to bring HOSA’s mission to life for your students while showing them the excitement and pride that comes with being part of this organization.

Dress to Impress!

General Sessions and Competitive Events: Official HOSA dress or business attire are NOT ALLOWED at Oklahoma SLC. The attire for OK SLC is solid colored slacks or skirt and the conference polo (given at SLC registration) with closed-toed shoes made of any material (no house shoes). For competitive skill events, scrubs/lab coats are acceptable.

National HOSA Service Project

If your chapter collects cash or check donations, please make sure you mail them to National Marrow Donor Program WITH a completed contribution form available here. Enter as much information as possible so their finance team can ensure your chapter gets credit (and points!) for your fundraising efforts.

Oklahoma HOSA State Anatomage Tournament

The Oklahoma HOSA State Anatomage Tournament will have both a virtual preliminary round prior to state leadership conference and in-person rounds during state leadership conference. Generating Invoices

Once all names have been entered into the system, in the bottom left corner of the Conference Registration Page on the black bar, click on the “Reports” tab and generate an invoice for your school’s bookkeeper to be sent with payment to Oklahoma HOSA. Then, follow the instructions for payment.
